Wood A-Frame Pavilion Details
Standard (4) ply beams
Standard 7" x 7" posts
Double curved braces (rather than single)
2" x 6" continuous brace with 2" x 6" endcaps (rather than our standard 2" x 4")
Black accent/structural Timberlok screws for each endcap
5" x 5" Wood braces at both gable ends of the pavilion.
Black metal brackets for structural/aesthetic purposes on the 5" x 5" wood braces as well as the ridgepole.
2" x 6" rafters/collar ties with black acorn nuts to accent the “through-bolts.”
(4) rafters fastened together at both gable ends to give the gable ends a “truss” look.
8/12 roof pitch.
As noted above, standard 2" x 6" rafters & collar ties.
Collar tie spacing to be max 4’ o.c. (Collar tie location(s) to be dependent on size of structure).
The collar ties sit “higher” off the roof plate (roughly 12”) to allow for a more spacious walk through the inside of the pavilion (for bigger size structures the collar ties sit 5” off the roof plate like our standard pavilions)

6" x 6" Square Posts
